The sun never came out, but 16 of us had a great time hiking 3.7 miles on Agawam Road, up to Fawn Pond and then back via former Makepeace bogs.
Next month there will be two hikes.
The first will be a short hike on Thursday, May 10th, around Hedges Pond. It is just over 2 miles on wood trails with some minor ups and downs.
The second will be Plymouth Long Beach at low tide on Saturday, May 26. Six miles on soft and hard sandy beach, rocks, and on sandy and rocky road. Individuals can turn around anytime and make it a shorter hike.
Both hikes will leave from the Stonebridge Club parking lot at 9 am
