It was a gray morning on Sandwich beach, as 16 of us
hiked the 3 miles from the Canal Visitor Center, around the eastern tip of
Sandwich Beach, and by the Board Walk. The tide was out, so Mill Creek, Old
Harbor Creek and Dock Creek at the end of the beach were very scenic.
Next Hike:
The October hike
will be on Saturday, 10/20. We will hike around Halfway Pond, a little over 3
miles. The hike features the pond, bogs and wood trails with some short hills.
We will meet at 10 am in the SBC parking lot.
