Cataumet Walking Trails

Saturday morning, 10 of us, hiked 4 miles on Cataumet Green Way Walking Trails from the Cataumet Post Office to  Red Brook Harbor, to Red Brook Pond and back to the Post Office.We experienced woods, bays, boats, ponds, cranberries, a fish ladder, a windmill,. railroad tracks and more.       BCT                                                                                          Red Brook Harbor       Hikers  Gas? Next hike:

Saturday, 9/22. Cape Cod Canal to Sandwich Boardwalk. About 4 miles along Canal, the beach, and some beach woods. All flat!

We’ll meet in the SBC Parking Lot at 9 am, as usual.



Crawley Woods Preserve (8/21/12)

Just 5 of us hiked about 2 miles through the Crawley Woods Preserve to Billington Sea and then back  along Lout Pond. Great morning for a hike.

Next hikes:

Saturday 8/25, Cataumet Post Office to Red Brook Harbor on Buzzard’s Bay to Red Brook Pond and back. Mostly wooded trails, 3-4 miles, some short hills. 20 mile ride to get there.
