Hedges Pond 4/18/2013

We hiked around Hedges Pond Thursday morning, enjoying a great sunny morning. In the summer this Town Of Plymouth Recreation Area is a great place for a swim and a short (2mi) hike.

                                

               

The next hike will be:
Saturday, May 18^th; Plymouth 1000 area, Horse Pond, about 4 miles some ups and downs. Off Bourne Rd.

We will leave at 9 am from the SBC parking lot.

Lyman Reserve Plymouth/Wareham

Today 12 of us hiked 3 miles in the Lyman Reservation area at the southern edge of Plymouth and Wareham. We touched on Red Brook and Buttermilk Bay (several swans on the bay). It was cool, but we had no rain.                                                                                                                                       

The next hikes will be:
Hedges Pond, Thursday April; 18^th. Flat about 2 miles, nice easy hike around pond. Off Long Pond Rd.

Saturday, May 18^th; Plymouth 1000 area, Horse Pond, about 4 miles some ups and downs. Off Bourne Rd.
