A dozen of us braved the strong winds and went on a 3.2 mile hike in the Duxbury Round Pond Area. Temperatures rose to 50 deg and the wind was not a problem.

The next hike will be Saturday, Feb. 9th. It will be a Pine
Hills hike. We will hike up from the bog off Beaver Dam Road to Manomet Hill,
the Fire tower and the ridge overlook, and back down. There are several steep
portions in the woods on this 3.7 miles hike.
We will leave at 10 am from the SBC parking lot.
If there is snow we will opt for a flatter hike
